New weekly pregnancy class announced!

We are delighted to have Hattie Allsop on the Essence team, She will be running a new weekly pregnancy yoga class from 14 March, every Monday from 6.30pm - 7.45pm.

Suitable for pregnant women after their first trimester (12 weeks).

Pregnancy yoga has many benefits:

  • Allows you the space and time to connect with your changing body and growing baby

  • Emotionally prepares your body and mind for birth

  • Improves sleep and lung capacity 

  • Releases tension in aching muscles, especially in the lower back and shoulders

  • Provides opportunity to connect with other pregnant women in a safe and friendly space 

Join a friendly community of other women in a similar season of life to you. Whether you are a seasoned yoga, a beginner or anything in between - you are very welcome to come to this warm and welcoming space to experience a deeply nourishing and easeful practice.

Each class starts with a short pregnancy circle, followed by movement, breath practice and deep rest. The classes are balanced between flowing movement and restorative postures, with a particular focus on postures and breath practices to support you during pregnancy and into birth. Hattie teaches in a way which enables students to intuitively and mindfully move and breathe, so as to feel at ease and nourished in both body and mind. 

Each class is £12 per session, all equipment provided. Four-class passes are available to be redeemed over six weeks.
